Our MOT Type 1 Aggregate creates a firm, stable sub-base beneath your finished surface. Its mixture of crushed stone and finer particles compacts tightly together, helping to distribute loads and reduce movement when correctly laid.

Whether you’re preparing a driveway, laying a patio or building a garden path, Type 1 provides the groundwork for a durable finish.

Ideal for:

Sub-bases beneath paving slabs and block paving
Driveway and patio preparation
Garden paths and hardstanding areas

Available sizes:

Bulk sack: approximately 800kg
Loose: approximately 800kg per unit ordered
Small bag: 20kg

Choose bulk or loose quantities for larger areas, or handy small bags for smaller jobs and topping up.

Laying advice: Spread in manageable layers and compact each layer thoroughly using suitable equipment. The required depth will depend on the ground conditions and intended use.
